Dear RDA Supporter, The RDA National Championships is the biggest event of its kind in the world for disabled riders and drivers – and we’d love you to be a part of it. Whether you are a competitor, volunteer or just simply want to come along and enjoy the action, we can guarantee a warm welcome for everyone. This year’s Championships takes place from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 July at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire. As RDA Carriage Driving reaches its 40th anniversary this year, we are delighted that our President, HRH The Princess Royal will be visiting on Friday to join in the celebrations. Why not come along too and watch the Carriage Driving competitions? For the 400 competitors who take part, The Championships is the culmination of months of practice, preparation, planning and perseverance. Please come and show your support. With a packed schedule of competitions on all three days, including Dressage, Showjumping and Countryside Challenge, there’s plenty to see throughout the weekend. This year’s attractions include ‘Have a Go’ Vaulting; shopping; hot and cold snack bars and ice-creams. There’s even on-site camping, so why not make a weekend of it and join us at the disco on Saturday night! Best wishes, Anne Coney National Championships Chairman |
