Two teams which included two brothers and a sister of Katy, one of our ex riders, entered an off-road triathlon consisting of mountain biking, kayaking and off-road running in the Grizedale forest, nr Lake Windemere in the Lake District. The event was nearly cancelled due to heavy snow and was limited to the south with rumours suggesting half of the teams dropped out. Tom and brother Richard together with Gordon made up the ‘SpongeBob Slow Pants’ team and Hilary competed in her own team of 3. They gained sponsorship and raised £1051 for our group including £100 from Ricardo UK Ltd. A fantastic achievement in completing the course and a fabulous amount of money raised to us. Thank you guys! Very well done!
