It was lovely to welcome Anne Turner, President of the Shakespeare Lions and Charles Williams, 2017 Wellesbourne & Shakespeare Lions Raft Race Chair, to the yard. They really enjoyed meeting with the riders, their parents and our volunteers and experiencing first hand a little of what we do. The two Lions clubs organise the highly successful Raft Race due to be held in Stratford on Sunday 23rd July and have nominated RDA National as their charity to raise funds for the new Lowlands Training Centre project.
