The Kineton Fun Ride on 18th August, which was kindly organised by Bronwen Hurley in aid of the Stratford District Council Chair, Chris Mills Fundraising year, was a great success. This was the first event organised for Chris’s nominated charities, our RDA group, the Stroke Association and the Alzheimer’s Society. 145 riders set out across Bronwen’s fields for the start of an 8 mile ride around Kineton and Compton Verney. They stopped at Home Farm, our Group venue, for squash and biscuits admiring the views across Compton Verney lake. Nearly £3000 was raised. A great start to Chris’s campaign. Thank you to all our RDA volunteers who helped on the day and to Bronwen, her family and the local farmers who made it happen.
Kineton Fun Ride great success!
